April Picture Books
April is full of life, color, and discovery! This month’s picture books celebrate the beauty of spring in full bloom—gardens growing, birds nesting, rain showers falling, and blossoms everywhere. Springtime stories invite children to slow down, look closely, and delight in the wonder of the world coming back to life.
My personal favorites are Children of the Forest by Elsa Beskow and Springtime in Noisy Village by Astrid Lindgren. Miss Rumphius is a close runner-up.
